The heart behind Willow & Wren

I'm taylor

What started as a love for photography grew into something deeper as I stepped into the world of birth work.

Being present for those first breaths, quiet in-between moments, and the strength women carried into motherhood changed the way I see everything. My goal isn't to just document these seasons, but to step into them with you.

Willow & Wren was created with intention.
The Willow represents the mother - strong, rooted, and deeply resilient, even as she bends and changes.
The Wren represents new life - small, gentle, and full of quiet new beginnings.
Together, they hold the story of motherhood: both the becoming and the beginning.

As a labor and delivery nurse, I've had the privilege of supporting women through some of the most vulnerable, powerful moments of their lives. That experience shapes everything I do.

It taught me to read a room without words, how to stay grounded when things feel uncertain, and how important it is for a woman to feel safe, respected, and supported in her choices.

When I bring a camera into these spaces, I don't just see images - I see moments worth holding onto,

My family is my home.  The people who ground me in all of it.

Sean is my biggest and most steady support. The one who reminds me to slow down, who carries more than he ever needs to say, and who's always right beside me through every season.
Elena, my heart outside of my body - growing and changing right in front of me.
And of course, our dogs - Charlie and Puck - who are never far behind, adding their own chaos and comfort in our everyday life.

They are the reason this work feels so personal to me - why I notice the small things and why I care so deeply about preserving them for others.

I know I already talked about my family, but my girl deserves her own space here.
There's something about watching her grow - not just bigger, but into herself. Her little personality coming through more and more every day, her smile that lights up everything, her laugh that I wish I could bottle up forever. She is so sweet, so curious, and already so determined to be "big," even though I wish I could keep her right here just a little longer.

She is the reason I hold onto these moments the way I do.

Wanderlust runs deep.
Traveling fills my soul in a way nothing else can. Exploring new places, soaking in the quiet beauty of nature, and capturing it all through my lens is pure magic. Mount Rainier was one of those places that took my breath away — a reminder of how small we are and how stunning the world can be.

you Deserve To Feel Held In This Season

You don’t have to have it all figured out to be here.

Whether you’re preparing for birth, learning your baby, or simply trying to hold onto a season thats moving too quickly, you deserve care that feels steady and personal.

My work lives somewhere between support and storytelling - helping you feel grounded while you're in it, and preserving the pieces you'll want to remember later.

Not just how it looked — but how it felt.
